The Snow and Ice Re-accreditation for March 2, 2013 is a go. Snow conditions at this time look very good. Montrose will keep the region posted on details. The region’s web site regarding the Snow and Ice Re-accreditation will be updated periodically. The June Mountain Ski area is closed at this time and will not be operational for the 2012-2013 seasons. Please note the following:
• Make lodging reservations soon – accommodations are filling fast
• T-shirt order deadline is 2-1-2013 - order forms are available online
• Topo Map is “June Lake” 7 ½ minute (each team will be responsible for supplying their own maps)
• Consider completing or updating and submitting the team information questionnaire - available online
• In the event that we have little or no snow at June Mountain we will once again postpone the Snow and Ice re-accreditation until March of 2014. We will make this decision by Feb. 1, 2013 and advise the region. The Region is looking into a plan “B” however it may not be practical to change venues or change disciplines at this late date.
